Dream On! delivers a comprehensive & engaging resource that is chock-full of advice from STEM pioneers willing to talk you through what you need to know to succeed.

Trailblazer Dr. Ezella McPherson provides a trove of essential wisdom for African American women attaining STEM careers. She distills this experience into inspirational encouragement for future generations of women going into STEM. 

Dr. McPherson extensively interviews sixteen African American women over several years. She compares the factors associated with achieving STEM degrees with those who ultimately obtained degrees in non-STEM fields despite their initial STEM aspirations. This book explores early educational influences, high school preparation, community support, and university survival tactics. 

Dream On! discusses the multiple challenges you could encounter when pursuing STEM careers. It underscores the importance of fostering girls’ early interest in it too.
